DAYS FANS REJOICE!

Days of Our Lives has been renewed!

An inside source has revealed exclusively to Daytime Royalty that NBC and Sony have worked out a 2 year deal that will keep "Days Of Our Lives," NBC's longest-running daytime drama, on the air through 2011. No details of the deal or when the announcement will be made public, but expect it very soon.

The show will celebrate its 43rd anniversary on Nomember 8, 2008.

Congratulations to the cast and crew!

Wow! I'm shocked!

But I think NBC kept that clause to cancel if they wish earlier.

But good news for DAYS!

LMAO! :funny:

This is good news. I mean, we kind of already knew DAYS was going to be renewed. I mean, if they hadn't made any cancellation responses yet, things were looking great, and you seen all of the backstage happenings going on with people being hired. If they were being cancelled, there wouldn't be a need to change anyone's position.

Yeah, I think it's something we all knew already, especially given Scott's interview a few months ago, BUT it's good to have confirmation, finally!

I really do not know what the show is waiting for.

Yea, I just talked to Michael Fairman, and he said the same thing. He knew they were gonna renew, esp. after hiring Galen and Eric to the canvas.
